Getting some holiday spirit

Last year, I made new stockings for myself and for my husband Tim and my Daughter Meagan.  Santa left them under the tree filled with goodies.  They were a big hit and larger than the old ones.  Meagan must have really liked hers since she gave me an order this year to make two for her best friends.  I did a bit more patchwork this time around on the first one I made and it took me most of the week to make the first one.  I had intended to applique one of their names on the cuff but drawing letters backwards so they could be fused onto the cuff proved to be a bit more of a challenge and I still had another stocking to build so I left it blank.  Several years ago a fellow quilter was cleaning out some excess fabric and gave me a rather large piece of this country fabric that is printed in blocks that can be cut out to be made into either pillows or a wall hanging.  Since my "style" is a bit more contemporary, I had not made anything from it but the fabric came to mind as a good bet for a stocking, and no patchwork required...YES!  Took me a quarter of the time to make the second one with the preprinted fabric as it did this first )pictured).  Just to get me in the mood, I listened to my "A Charlie Brown Christmas" CD.  BEST Christmas music ever!  Ho, Ho, HO!!!!
